Ram Rajya

 Religion and its truths make sense to those who subscribe to it and for all others, these truths might stand falsely, vague, and even incorrect.

 And since religion is often believed to be anchoring itself on myth which is a medium of truth it symbolizes. Rituals and traditions are wheels that civilize and make humanity. Modern education calls us to believe only facts and logic and hence, we often end up questioning the symbols or these rituals but what if we misunderstand the concepts altogether and are 'lost in translation'?

Ram, Jesus, or Muhammad would make little or no sense if one fails or is unwilling to understand the subjectivity of truths. Failure can be met with information and education but unwillingness can't be helped especially if it comes with a strategic desire to use religion as a tool or more like a weapon for power.

Ram today has become an icon of political ideology. Ram who once was known to think of humanity even after being in power, chose to renounce even his wife as his 'Praja' found her unfit to be queen, whose name once was to calm the mind and reach a stage where Valmiki a highway mug enlightened and becoming a saint.. second chance much?

But today Ram and his name are chanted to establish dominance or moreover derive mass to cause havoc. Ram is made to be aggressive, violent and a killer but he is not and anyone having read, heard, or watched Ramayana or some other related stories would agree. Why was Ravan killed? Because he was a demon? No, he wasn't killed just because he was a demon (subjective) he was killed as despite being highly educated, being born a Brahman (who had access to a lot of Veda and Puran) he refused to tame himself or his demons which made him unhuman or more animal-like, this wild animal-like behavior was for animals and not humans. You could call Ravan 'Adharmi' or unrighteous, Ram was 'Maryada Purushottam' or upholder of dharma.

 Now, 'Dharma' has nothing to do with controlling or striking people it is about going beyond self-propagation and choosing to control and rise above your passion which could result in harm to others. Dharma is civilization and not controlling or reigning so Ram Rajya is not about political victory it's about rising above self-motives and establishing dharma, a civilization that cares about the 'Praja' or the masses.

But what about Sita is she bound to be renounced from Ram Rajya???

As the mass doesn't approve of her or her 'pavitrata' or her chastity is a matter of scrutiny when another's demons were holding her captative and she was a victim.

{We need to do something about this mentality.}

Do we need Ram Rajya or is dharma to be seen supreme for a world that's better where we don't renounce our Sita or question her or step on killing the demons rather civilize them.
